Steve Hirshon hosted \u201cHukkin a Chinek\u201d (Yiddish for pestering someone, literally \u201cbanging a tea kettle\u201d) for as long as I can remember. One of my favorite shows on WMPG, it was a delightful blend of cool (and very diverse) music and talk. For me, his seemingly casual but very dedicated approach to DJ\u2019ing epitomized the \u2018MPG ethos. He kept at it well after he had become quite ill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was also the second host of Sunday Simcha and did a great job on that, too. He continues to be sorely missed.<\/p>\nMarshall Tinkle<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
